Idaho Crisis & Suicide Hotline (ICSH) is thrilled to be one of the recipients of the Hubble Hero House event.
Idaho Crisis & Suicide Hotline (ICSH) has been a source of support for Idahoans experiencing suicidal feelings and other types of emotional distress since the phones started ringing in 2012.
On July 16th, (ICSH) became a member of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, a national number that is committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness.
#988 is now active across the United States. With this new, shorter phone number, it will make it easier for people to remember and access mental health crisis services. (Please note, the previous 1-800-273-TALK (8255)
If you or a loved one are struggling with a mental or emotional problem, having trouble with drugs or alcohol, having family or relationship problems, please- reach out. Someone is always available by call, texts, or chat communications without regard to age, disability, gender identity, race, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin. We can all help to prevent suicide.
The funds raised in the sale of this house will help to save lives and assist those in crisis. Since the phones started ringing in 2012, Idaho Crisis & Suicide Hotline (ICSH) has been a source of support for Idahoans experiencing suicidal feelings and other types of emotional distress.
By providing support at the moment of crisis, ICSH helps reduce the undue burden and stress of unnecessary emergency department visits and the need for local law enforcement responses. Hubble Homes’ generosity will help ICSH continue their work supporting our neighbors, friends, and family members during difficult times.
