On Friday, May 2nd, we kicked off this year’s Hubble Hero Home journey with a heartwarming Groundbreaking Event at the future home site in Adams Ridge—and what a fantastic way to begin!
The afternoon began with guests arriving between 1:00 and 1:30 PM to mingle and enjoy a complimentary drink from With Honey Food Truck. From there, the official program began, with a warm welcome and introduction from Dr. Brian Cutting. He reminded us all why this project matters, saying, “We are good at building homes, and we are here to enhance people's lives. To enhance more people’s lives, we all have to come together to do just that.” His message set the tone for the rest of the event.
Next, we heard directly from this year’s Hero Home charity partners—Treasure Valley Habitat for Humanity, Fearless Outdoorsman, The Mentoring Network, Inc., CATCH Idaho, and Caldwell Veterans Memorial Hall—as they shared how the proceeds from the Hero Home will impact their missions. We were also honored to have Mayor Jarom Wagoner in attendance to show his support for these vital community organizations.
At 2:15 PM, we gathered for the highlight of the day: the Golden Shovel Ceremony. Leaders from each nonprofit, along with Hubble team members and community partners, took part in breaking ground and marking the beginning of a meaningful project. The celebration wrapped up with plenty of smiles and photos to capture the moment.
We are honored to support these five remarkable organizations and proud to continue this tradition of giving back through the Hubble Hero Home. Stay tuned for updates as construction gets underway—we can’t wait to show you what’s next!
