Hubble Homes is excited to celebrate its 25th Anniversary by giving back to the community in which we build, live, and raise our families.
With this in mind, we recently partnered with the Drafting 2 & Drafting 3 classes from local Ridgevue Highschool in Nampa. Ridgevue High School offers various AP courses, pre-AP classes, and Career Technical Education programs, including architecture and drafting classes. Students learn Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) techniques and software and are encouraged to explore the possibilities and begin the journey toward these exciting career paths.
Tia, Chris T, Andy, and Matt from the Hubble Team had the opportunity to speak to the students at Ridgevue High School and gave them details and tidbits about Hubble Homes and the home building industry in general. The Hubble Team not only talked about what a career in the building industry would look like for them but is also partnering with them on a class project. The students will be given the opportunity to “re-design” one of our floorplans and give their recommendations on how they would improve our product.
In addition, the students took a field trip to one of our construction sites in Franklin Village to see the various stages of construction. They spent the day with our team walking the construction sites and learning about the various phases of construction. After lunch, the students took a tour of our Corporate Office and Design Showroom.
