It's time to say hello to another one of the valley charities that will benefit from the proceeds of our Hubble Hero House: Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Since 1988, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho (RMHC of Idaho) has been keeping families of sick children together – giving them a place to rest and refresh. RMHC of Idaho supports families of ill or injured children through our Idaho Ronald McDonald House® in Boise, Ronald McDonald Family Room® in Idaho Falls, and Happy Wheels Hospitality Carts in Boise and Twin Falls. Research shows that RMHC programs have a direct impact by enabling family-centered care and providing the emotional and physical comfort families need.
Mission: Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho supports families of ill or injured children by keeping them together in times of medical need.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho are very grateful to be part of our Hubble Hero House project. They feel that no one understands the importance of home better than them, because they provide a home away from home for families with sick kids each and every day. Another family making the Hero House their home is, in turn, providing a home for countless families in need. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho are very excited for the sale of the Hubble Hero House and the donation - expecially now: "The Hero Home donation will help to ensure we can operate and provide services to families, even amid this difficult time." said Taylor Munson. She also noted that continuing to operate during a pandemic has been difficult, but with the support of the community and amazing partners like Hubble Homes, they’ve been able to continue providing comfort and support to parents and children.
