It's time to meet another one of the valley charities that will benefit from the proceeds of our 2021 Hubble Hero House: Boise Rescue Mission's Valley Women & Children’s Shelter.
Vision: To end homelessness in its entirety. For us, taking care of homeless women and children isn’t simply about addressing physical needs — food, shelter, clothing — it’s just as much about addressing mental, emotional and spiritual needs.
Mission: To restore faith, hope and family by teaching the word of God and providing food, shelter, clothing and opportunities to recover from homelessness for women and children in need.
The Boise Rescue Mission opened the Valley Women and Children’s shelter in Nampa in 2014 as a response to the need for emergency shelter for women in the area.
