Meet our 2021 Hubble Hero House Charities - JEM Friends

Today we would like to introduce another one of the valley charities that will benefit from the proceeds of our 2021 Hubble Hero House: JEM Friends

Vision: JEMfriends envisions that each person aging out of foster care has opportunities to flourish in a society that understands their adversity and supports them in becoming loving adults.

Mission: To provide a program to help youth aging out of foster care as they navigate their transition to independence.

JEMfriends is a Treasure Valley non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing stepping stones to independence for at-risk youth, ages 18-24 years old. JEMfriends supports an underserved population of youth who are experiencing homelessness or have aged out of the foster care system. Through an independent living program, housing, life skills classes and mentorship, JEMfriends goal is to create positive outcomes for at-risk youth.

JEMfriends is using the funds to launch a 5-bedroom home for young men in Nampa.
