Hubble Homes funds Family Advocates
On Friday, July 15, 2022, Hubble Homes staff visited the Family Advocates office and presented the organization with a $25,000 grant. This grant, will fund both a technology update and Family Life Skills Conference for Family Advocates, and is just one piece of Hubble Homes 25-Year Anniversary celebration.
After years of operating with obsolete technology, Family Advocates will use a portion of this grant to fund a much-needed technology update. This update is to include 13 new laptops, complete with the necessary software for staff to perform duties and responsibilities related to advocating and preventing child abuse.
In addition, money donated by Hubble Homes will provide funds for the first annual Family Life’s Skills Conference, to be put on in the spring of 2023 by the Family Advocates, Family Strengthening Education Program. This conference will serve 200 individuals and provide an opportunity for families to learn about personal finances and budgeting, mental health, employment, home ownership, and more.
Hubble Homes has now exceeded $2.5 million dollars of support to valley charities during our 25 years in business through the Heart of Hubble programs. “Hubble Homes is passionate about giving back to the communities we build in and we feel like it’s our responsibility to continue to do so. This donation is another great opportunity for Hubble Homes to help improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods, give back to the community, and create a culture of giving within our company” commented Don Hubble, President and CEO of Hubble Homes.
“This generous gift is truly a dream come true for Family Advocates. To put on the first of what we hope to be an annual Life Skills Conference will mean so much to the families we serve in the community. We can’t wait to see the legacy that this partnership with Hubble Homes will leave.” Says Kathryn Seebold, Executive Director of Family Advocates.
