Hubble Homes donates over $500,000 to local charities on Giving Tuesday
Hubble Homes donated $534,990.00 to seven valley charities on Tuesday, November 29th as part of Giving Tuesday. The seven charities: Advocates Against Family Violence, Alliance Serving Kuna / Kuna Community Food Bank, Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and Canyon County, Camp Rainbow Gold / Hidden Paradise, Idaho Humane Society, Idaho Crisis & Suicide Hotline and Women’s and Children’s Alliance each received $76,427.25 from the sale of the 2022 Hubble Hero House.
Our forty-six trade partners, subcontractors, and vendors donated all labor, and materials to ensure the 2022 Hubble Hero home was a success.
“Hubble Homes is celebrating our 25th year of building in the Treasure Valley and we are so proud to be able to donate a record-breaking amount. We are thankful for all the support from our trade partners and subcontractors for their generous donation of 100% of the labor and materials it took to build the Hero Home. Because of their contributions, we are able to make this amazing donation to these seven valley charities,” commented Don Hubble, President, and CEO of Hubble Homes.
Hubble Homes is celebrating their 25th anniversary and since its inception has contributed $3,108,971.23 in donations to local charities and nonprofits.
One of the beneficiaries of this year’s donations, Advocates Against Family Violence, shared plans to use the contribution to support their mission to eliminate violence and abuse. Their Executive Director, Kimberly Deugan, shared, “We are so very grateful for the opportunity to work with Hubble Homes and to have been chosen as one of the Hero House beneficiaries. These funds will help support our work within our shelter as well as in our outreach program, ensuring we are able to provide rural communities with our services.”
